Gentle Yoga w/ Henry - Sliding scale: $5 - $15 per class
Safe, gentle movements that release tension and stress in muscles and joints restoring a sense of ease and comfort in the body.
Henry received his certification from Kripalu Yoga Center in Lenox, Mass. in 2003 and has taught off and on for 10 years. He has had a daily practice all of that time and has studied Vini Yoga with Gary Kraftsow which was used in a NIH study that proved the effectiveness of Vini yoga for relieving back pain (www.viniyoga.com). He has also completed the training at Duke Integrative Medicine: Therapeutic Yoga for Seniors.
Ashtanga Yoga with Jess - $15 per class
A modified primary series and specialized focuses.
Astanga - A disciplined series of yoga asanas designed to help detoxify muscles and organs, strengthen the body, increase flexibility, calm the nervous system and focus the mind. Ashtanga is a traditional style of yoga used to build the foundation for a healthy lifestyle and spirituality.
